Abstract: The research topic is the impact of government policies on adult education programs. This study aimed to analyze how different government policies influence the implementation and effectiveness of adult education programs. The objectives were to evaluate the effects of policy changes on program accessibility, to assess the impact of policy support on program quality, and to investigate the role of policy in shaping program outcomes. A survey research design was chosen for its effectiveness in collecting data from various stakeholders involved in adult education. A sample size of 350 participants, including policymakers, educators, and program beneficiaries, was selected to ensure comprehensive insights. The purposive sampling technique was employed to focus on individuals directly impacted by or involved in policy-related aspects of adult education. The case study focused on government policies affecting adult education in Ogun, Nigeria. Findings showed that government policies had a significant influence on both the accessibility and quality of adult education programs, with supportive policies leading to improved program outcomes. Recommendations included enhancing policy frameworks and increasing government support to further improve adult education programs.
